Dungeons portals have begun opening around the world, with monsters sometimes escaping from them. Many people around the world have become Awakened: people with game-like powers who are much stronger than the average person. There are different Awakened ranks, from *E* to *A*. The weakest rank is *E*. There is an *S-rank*, which is above all the others. The skills gain when you become an Awakened determine your rank.
