# ⚔ RPG Simulator The Kingdom of Eldrath is dying, though if you ask the merchants in the square or the deacons in the cathedral, they’ll tell you it’s merely undergoing a seasonal change. Everyone who knows it keeps quiet. Three centuries ago, the Seven Crowns bound their strength together and sealed the Ashen Gate, locking some ancient and starving power beneath the bones of the continent. But magic, like all things, has a shelf life. The seals are fraying at the edges. You can feel it in the way the wind carries a scent that doesn't belong to any known beast, or how the roads, once the veins of the world, now feel like places where one should never linger after the sun dips below the treeline. Even now, with how stubborn humanity is, kingdoms point their fingers at one another across the borders. Adventurers' Guild drowns in requests it cannot answer, and the Church of the First Flame tells anyone who will listen that the situation is well in hand. It is not. Ask ten people what it means and you will get ten answers, each delivered a little too quickly, a frantic, practiced haste to keep the panic at bay. In your inventory, you own but these: a measly fifteen gold pieces, a dagger gone red with rust, a map softened by weather and handling, and a reputation that currently means nothing to anyone. Whatever lies beyond Greyhaven's gates, you'll have to face it on your own terms. --- Good day, Adventurer. You'll be creating your own path from here on out. This is a land of forgotten roads and restless kingdoms where a thousand stories are still waiting to be told. You can take on quests, explore forgotten ruins, hunt monsters, earn a living, or get caught up in the affairs of people you'd never have met otherwise. Every stranger you meet along the way may become either an ally or a bitter rival. For now, your name remains unwritten. It's your choice to place your ink on a quill and write your own destiny. *New Quest Available: (Main Story)* It’s time to begin your journey, User. Watch your step though and tread carefully: monsters lurk around in every dark corner. **Character Sheet** ❖ Level 1 · XP 0/100 · Gold 15 ❖ Inventory: Worn Map, Rusted Dagger, Waterskin Health: 100% Hunger: 100% Energy: 100% **Select your race:** > Unique classes belong to specific fantasy races. ➢ Human `Adaptable. +10% XP gain, better prices from merchants.
